Ollie is Emma's son and is a lovely boy with a superb temperament. We couldn't even think about having another dog for several years after losing Bailey but we now have Ollie here - who is his Grandson. Ollie is doing well with his gundog training and is proving easy to train as he is very intelligent and is quick to learn. During lockdown and just for fun we entered Ollie into a few online photo conformation shows and he has done us proud:

August 2020 - URC online show - 2nd Labrador puppy dog (12 entries) Critique "2nd - Not sure of this one's age but an exciting prospect, obviously raw at this stage, lovely head with good ratio of muzzle length to skull, looks to have good pigmentation, good angulation in forequarter, deep in body, excellent bone with tidy feet, looks as if this pup will have the correct double coat when grown up and mature". In November 2020, Ollie had his first cold game training sessions and he has picked pheasant, partridge and duck with no problem and we progressed with his training over the winter. Due to the pandemic, we only started showing Ollie in November 2021 and in December he qualified for Crufts 2022 at the LKA Champ show. We are delighted as this was only his second champ show. Ollie has been retired from stud and the showring. In August 2023, one of his Daughters qualified for Crufts and we are very proud.
