We are pleased to now be able to offer Lightbringer Romano (Harry) at stud. He is our third homebred dog we have offered at stud and our service comes with over 17 years stud handling experience, both with our own dogs and dogs from outside kennels. I am fully qualified and experienced in evaluating canine semen and Harry will be regularly checked. Any litters he sires can be put on our litters page as we get regular puppy enquires so we can hopefully put future puppy buyers onto you. We are happy to give advice on progesterone testing, pregnancy, whelping and raising a litter. Harry is currently unproven but was semen tested in November 2025 with excellent results (motility, morphology and ph).

Requirements for visiting Bitches
Should be good natured with a good temperament and be a KC registered pedigree Labrador. We do not accept bitches of any other breed. We also only accept Black, Chocolate or Yellow bitches and pedigrees may be checked to rule out the dilute gene. We do not accept Silver or Charcoal bitches under any circumstances!
Should be at least 2 years old for a first litter and a maximum of 6 years old for later litters.
Must have a clear BVA eye test at the time of mating and be hip and elbow scored under the BVA or ANKC schemes with good scores. DNA tests are recommended but because Harry is clear of PRA, EIC, CNM, HNPK, DM, SD2, CYSTINURIA, CT, HUU, MCD & STGD , the puppies will never be affected for those conditions.
Visiting bitches MUST be progesterone tested as ready for mating. This saves wasted journeys and messing around which isn't fair on the stud dog or the bitch. We highly recommend using Anne Morley at Matenow. We are happy to guide you through the process. We offer 2 matings and the stud fee must be paid after the first successful mating.
We offer a free repeat mating if your bitch doesn't conceive (if she was progesterone tested as being ready). This free repeat must be within a year of the first mating.
You will receive a stud folder after the first mating with all Harry's health certificates, his stud card and a copy of our stud contract.
